Questions

Are materials and textures kept?

Colours and texture coordinates are carried over when USDZ supports them. Texture images are kept for formats that can hold them.

Will my model be upside down?

No. DAE and USDZ may use different "up" directions, and we rotate the model so it stands the same way in your software.

Are my files uploaded?

No. The conversion runs inside your browser.

Will the model show at the right size in AR?

Yes. USDZ is written in metres and we convert your units, so a 60 mm part appears 6 cm across on your iPhone or iPad.
