BREP → STL Convert BREP to STL Turn a BREP CAD model into an STL mesh. Curved surfaces are meshed finely enough to stay smooth, and the part keeps its real size and orientation.

What is BREP? BREP is the native exact-geometry format of the OpenCascade kernel, used by FreeCAD, CadQuery and many engineering tools built on it.
Full name OpenCascade boundary representation Type Exact CAD geometry Used in FreeCAD, CadQuery, Salome, OpenCascade-based tools Strength Lossless for OpenCascade-based software. Limits Rarely supported outside the OpenCascade family. More about BREP What is STL? STL describes a surface as a list of triangles, with no colour, material or unit information. It is the default file for 3D printing and is exported by almost every CAD and modelling program.
Full name Stereolithography Type Triangle mesh Used in Cura, PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio, Blender, Fusion 360, SolidWorks Strength Universal support in 3D printing software. Limits Only triangles: no colours, no materials, no units, no editable CAD features. More about STL
Good to know BREP stores exact surfaces; STL needs triangles. We mesh each surface with a deviation of 0.05% of the part's size, which keeps holes and fillets smooth for printing and rendering.
Dimensions stay in the units of the original file, usually millimetres.
Questions Will curves look faceted? No. Curved faces are meshed with a tight tolerance, so holes and fillets stay smooth.
Does it keep the size of my part? Yes. The mesh has the same dimensions as the CAD model.
Are my files uploaded? No. Everything runs in your browser.
