AMF → DXFConvert AMF to DXF
Convert AMF files to DXF in seconds. Geometry, UVs and materials are carried over where DXF supports them, and the model lands the right way up.
- Geometry, UVs and materials kept where supported
- Correct orientation and scale
- Runs on your computer: nothing is uploaded

- Full name
- Additive Manufacturing File Format
- Type
- Triangle mesh
- Used in
- PrusaSlicer, Slic3r, some industrial printers
- Strength
- Units and materials for printing.
- Limits

More about AMFWhat is DXF?
DXF is AutoCAD's exchange format. We write your model as 3D faces that AutoCAD, LibreCAD and most CAD programs can open.
- Full name
- AutoCAD Drawing Exchange Format
- Type
- Triangle mesh
- Used in
- AutoCAD, LibreCAD, DraftSight, laser and CNC software
- Strength
- Opens in AutoCAD-compatible software.
- Limits
- 3D faces only; not a solid model.

Questions
Are materials and textures kept?
Colours and texture coordinates are carried over when DXF supports them. DXF does not store textures, so only the geometry carries over.
Will my model be upside down?
No. AMF and DXF may use different "up" directions, and we rotate the model so it stands the same way in your software.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The conversion runs inside your browser.
